Grease Life of Sealed Ball Bearings

When grease is packed into single-row deep groove ball bearings, the grease life may be estimated using Equation 1 or 2, or figures from the graph on grease life of sealed ball bearings (see below) may be used:

Notes

1. Mineral oil-based greases (e.g. lithium soap-based grease). Often used within a temperature range of around -10 to 110℃.
2. Synthetic oil-based greases. Can be used over a wide temperature range of around -40 to 130℃.
