Load Distribution on Bearings

In the simple examples shown in the figures on the right, the radial loads on bearings I and II can be calculated using the following equations:


where

F CI :  Radial load applied to bearing I (N)
F CII :  Radial load applied to bearing II (N)
K :  Shaft load (N)

When these loads are applied simultaneously, first the radial load for each should be obtained, and then, the sum of the vectors may be calculated according to the load direction.
